Have i gone through the dark knight on the soul?

i often wondered if i had a dark night of the soul vs was it just ordinary depression?

they feel so similar

i still question it to this day if i have undergone this or not

if i did go through it:

was it when i was lost searching for my place on this earth. why am i here? what is my purpose?

i was lost until i found my calling

if this is the dark night of the soul... then i have undergone that transformation
